That's too bad. The new supertrapps are a good unit. Are there many aftremarket cans out there for the S2's? |

Roadrunr, When we were trying to get our son to make his appearance, the doctor told us that the same thing that got us in the situation could speed things along. Hootowl, I can make it fit. If I can build a header from a pile of tubing, I can make a muffler fit where it isn't supposed to What do you want for it? The only can I know of that specifically fits the S2 is the Borla. If all else fails I'll be ordering one of those, in carbon, for about $275. |

WhiteS2, Vance and Hines also made one. I know since I have one on mine right now. I do not know if they are still made however. Where might you guys be riding to on Sunday? Anywhere close to San Antonio? |

Roadrunr, You aren't a piece of meat, you're a sex toy, get it straight My old lady is wanting another kid now. Good for quantity of whoopie, bad for bank account... Buelliedan, Oh yeah, forgot about that one. I think they are still making them, but I've heard bad things about them coming apart at bad times. I had one on my EX500 and never had any major problems, though. I won't be getting close to SA myself, not enough time, but I don't know what everyone else is doing. |

W95S2: I don't want to get in the way if you and Hootowl have a deal made, but I've got a complete 2" set-up (stock header and supertrapp) off my '96 S1 that's taking up space in my garage. It looks like it might go on an S2. r-t |

Jeff, does the supertrapp you have require the race header? If not, ping me with a price. |

White95S2, RR, I'd like two bills for it. It's still in the box. Sounds to me like the set up RT has will work better for you 95S2, but if you want it, it's yours. If not... RR- The muffler doesn't work with the race header. It's the same can as the Buell Pro Series Slip on for the stock pipe, except is says "SuperTrapp" on the side instead of "Buell", but both are made by supertrapp. Little history on the muffler. I had the early model supertrapp, it broke, and during the four months it took them to send me the new model, I bought the full D&D system. Archer, I got that shock I was telling you about. Dan, Thanks again for the offer. Wish I would have known sooner, or had bothered to post in the parts wanted section. Jeff |

Road_Thing, Replacing the header might work, as long as it clears the air cleaner, and I don't see a reason why it wouldn't. What would it take to talk you out of it? Roadrunr, Put her on the bike, rev to about 2 grand, repeat Anyone planning on riding Sunday? Between about noon and 4 is open for me and if I don't get out then I'll be stuck with my family for over a week straight, which means I may well go completely insane and kill everyone in sight. Ross, Don't suppose y'all have a Screamin' Eagle ignition module for a 95 Sportster? No one else has one and I want to stick one in there to cure a bit of an EPA induced problem. |

Roadrunr, So push the eject button! Almost worked for us, but it was a couple of months early. I think we hold the record for the most trips to the hospital to shoot out one kid. Dan, How noticable was the difference between 3 and 4 grand? Ross, I have to run downtown to pick up a check, so I might head over your direction afterwords to at least check the place out. Going to any retail store the Saturday before Christmas isn't my idea of fun, but if I pack enough 9mm hollowpoints I might survive |

White95S2: If you're close to Ross, you're close to me-maybe you could swing by and check out the header & trapp. I'll ping you offline with my phone #. r-t |

Steve, I honestly don't think it makes a whole lot of difference. From testing Aaron did with an M2 module all it does is increase when the rev limiter kicks in fully. I think they are not worth the money IMHO, mine just came with the bike when I bought it. |

RT, I didn't get the message until after I had headed down there, met Ross (thanks again for the plugs, Ross. Took all of 7 minutes to put 'em in), went to work, called my wife, and picked up my car from the impound lot (long, crappy day...). I'm now packed solid until next Monday, too. I'll figure out some time to meet up with you. Dan, If I can make it happen I might strap the bike on a dyno, make a couple of pulls, swap modules, and repeat. Hmm... anyone have an SE module I could borrow for a bit? |

Steve, When would you be thinking about doing said dyno runs? Maybe I could ride there and we could both do them to keep the results more reliable? Do you get dyno time for free? |

Does anybody know the guy in Seabrooke who is selling the S2 body and frame on cycle trader? The number on trader doesn't work and I am very interested but there is no other way to contact him. |
