The tailbag is incredibly useful, the Traction grips were too large for my hands, the airbox lid has the all powerful dimple not provided on earlier xb9 models, 9R footpegs were for track days I never did (found out I needed them on my 1st and only awesome track day w/XB9S), muffler and stuff was replaced w/Buell race kit at 500 miles. does the bag fit the Firebolt tail or is it designed for the "S" models. | ||

The bag is specific to the Lightning. I do not think it would fit well on an R, but you can try if you want. Go to another forum on the board and see if anyone has tried to fit a Buell Accessories XB9S bag on an R. Someone might know. It may work, but you may be trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. The fitment seems pretty Lightning specific. Ride safe. Mark | ||

Harley & Jet, please email me. They are both available. The tailbag is the best thing I ever bought for the bike! I used it all the time. I forget the brand of bars, but have pics. They have less rise, pullback and drop than the stock bars. It is a good bar, but I found the stock bars better for my commute and my short stature (5'8").
