I could really give a ratz a$$ what somebody else thinks about my bike... and I will go you one better, I could give two shiates about what happens on the track. Neither opinion affects how I ride, where I ride or my buying decision. I am still pi$$ed about the AMA and their rulings on how they killed a perfectly good dirt bike, so they can kiss my @$$ too. Get a new batch of friends. |

Xb12mel, I'd love to go on a local Buell rally. As far as northerners are concerned, I'm still south of the Mason Dixon line Is Hampton near Richmond? I can't imagine what a bunch of Buells sound like, defintley disturbing to everyone else (in a good way!) I'm excited to go riding with some other Buell people though! K- I haven't checked that out yet, somethign I probably should do, I'm still a newb. |

Here is something funny about squids trash talking the Buellers....Our Buell club has a monthly ride...we have from 10 to as many as 25 or so folks show up to ride... Usually less than half are on Buells...our motto is "it don't matter what you ride, as long as you ride". Age range (and background) is from all over the board...sometimes we ride hard and sometimes it is more leisurely...but it is always fun...when I first rode with the group, It was after two or three invitations...I frankly was afraid I would be snobbed because I ride a Blast...yes the word is out....a Blast!!...I found that I was completely wrong and had a great time...and to my relief, I wasn't the slowest rider...and as Buellistic would put it..some "product improvement" has made the lil bugger really fun to throw around...and it will serve we well until that scg comes my way... The point is...it is possible for a bunch of great people with widely different tastes in brands to not only get along, but have a great time.. |

Before I had a Buell I was on a Suzuki GS500F, and I was passing people on Ninja ZX12R's. It was embarrasing. |

I have ridden with all types of riders on all types of bikes. I am not the fastest rider, but am not afraid of a corner either. I have had to push myself to keep up with one well known gentleman here on his Harley, while outrunning many riders on sport bikes all the way up to the liter class. I do not mind as much riding with a bunch of Sport Bike riders riding faster than I like as I do riding with Cruiser guys that struggle to hold a single line through a corner. I am a pace rider and finding other riders that like the same pace is key to the enjoyment of riding with others. I usually end up in the middle of a fast crowd. If someone pushes me, I wave them on. I also had the enjoyment of two Gixxer riders waved me by on the Uly during a sport bike ride where I was the only one not on a pure sport bike and the only Buell. At the end of that ride, I was third in line with an SV650 and CBR600RR in front of me and several liter bikes behind me. There was a time I would bite on these, 'mine is bigger than yours' slapfest. I don't anymore. Repeat after me.... I ride Buells because that is what I like to ride, if you don't like it, don't buy one. Done! |

BTW, dcsportbikes website sucks. I cant find crap there. I still cant find the thread that others are seeing. The people are irritating and close minded. I dont know how anyone could stand to socialize there. If Badweb was like that I would cancel my internet. |

No I was wondering about the thread where the Buell battle was going on with B00stzx3. I found it now. I'm pretty disappointed. Cliff notes: It was bullying and being bullyed. Then throwing what you believe in out the window with the hope of being accepted by the cool kids. Sad. Reminded me of high school. |

I had a coworker make a comment today about having a different brand bike would stop people from making fun of my ride. I told him it was part of the pride in Buell ownership |

All I said was that don't think its right 1125R runs against 600s. I don't see what this whole thing that I'm a fake Buell supporter comes from? I've gotten into arguments defending Buell. Please don't go starting trouble. I don't even respond on there anymore about anythign Buell. Go on grouprides and thats it. I appreciate the help but its really ok. Folks keep forgetting about the global shift in power delivery between a twin, and an inline. Twins *have* to be bigger to be competitive - we've got two huge lumps of metal pounding up and down. Most inlines have little chunks of metal that look like our *intake valves* rocketing up and down at light speed to make power. Torque? Uh-uh, just spin it up (WAAAY up) and the power will kick in. Why do you think the rulebooks limit the sizes of the inlines, but the twins can be much larger? Streetbike, though? Gimme a twin, anyday. It's actually *useful*. |

Nothing like dumping the clutch on a ZX6 I love the red line at 1600 Those bikes can SCREAM! It is totally funny when you get someone who is used to a rice burner on a Buell, its like the Buell almost Bucks them a little K |
