Good times in the MD/VA countryside... Out near Hume, VA
Off Gregg Rd in north of Silver Spring, MD
And a slightly different view of the Uly (thanks to my long arms and lack of fear)...

Hey Wrongway2, it was great to meet y'all and good to see 5 Uly's together (sounded like a beehive with all of our fans). Hey, was there an R1200GS in the bunch? I don't remember. Just bustin' your stones, Travis!}

Congrats Blake, you'll never look back. Hard to believe I've been a Badwebber for 10 years now. Here's my blue Uly after another early spring ride up here in the stix.... The '99 Cylcone (in the background) went out the day before, but it was still just below freezing which kept the roads dry!

BlueThunder, PM me. Maybe we can help you. Sorry to hear about the downtime. Too bad it was over winter, less riding time. ~jammer |

Thanks guys. I've been enjoying the heck out of the Uly since February 7th, but riding time has been slim. The thing just plain works extremely well, and the engine is surprisingly strong. She's all stock at this point, and it even sounds pretty darn good. And can you say "heated grips"? How I ever got along with out 'em seems a mystery now. Thanks to Al Lighton at American Sport Bike for refusing to sell me a Ventura mounting rack, choosing instead to advise me that the Ventura pack fits perfectly on the triple tail dealio. It does, like they were made for each other. Nice. Obligatory photo...

Blake: Congratulations! I've got to tell you that after getting mine I don;t know how I lived without it . . . . I'm actively seeking places and reasons to ride. The Uly is THE BOMB. Couldn't agree more about the grips either. Can't wait to hear more about it! Court |
