Granted the 1125R is not for everyone. I believe one of Buell's slogans is "Different in every way." That, to me, says it all. The IL4's are great track bikes and most would agree not very comfortable for the long sunday rides most of us buy a bike for in the first place. I happen to like the unique look of the 1125R. The pods add a look and character that are unmatched by other manufacturers. I have owned other brands, but since my first Buell, I am on my third, I have been hooked on them. Take it or leave it but Buell is here to stay. Oh yeah and keep your eye on the track too, Buells are coming up fast. |

Come on. The XBRR was a funny looking bike, with its ducting running into the top of the tank( air box ) and for all of its performance up grades from a stock XB it still was not competitive. It can't be competitive with that motor. It's results in Formula Extreme shows it. I liked the XBRR effort, thats what made me a Buell fan in the first place. I watched them and even talked to the factory riders riding it. It was a bit of a handful. Say what you will but the 1125R already has shown better results than the XBRR ever could. Buell should have just made available a lower body work piece for racing and those that want their bike's to look like all the other sport bike's in the parking lots. I'll be at Fontana this weekend, and although Ben Bostrom's gonna be hard to beat on his R6 and Fontana's not as open of a track as Daytona, Buell actually has a chance to finally start winning. I'd have to say though you XB guys are loyal to your bike's, but change is here, and change is good. |

Ya, Back in the day. I wonder why its not used today. Like drum brakes. and spoked wheels. Now somebody will put. But I liked drum brakes and spoke wheels. |

I had a '92 ZX-7. Loved it! Why did I sell it? Oh yeah, to buy an XB9R. Still, I wish I could have kept it. Heavy and underpowered by today's standards, but she sure was a beauty. Oh, and I love the 1125R's styling. Looks like a big, badass manta ray. I loved the one test ride I had on it. Fast and very maneuverable. I expect to own one one day. |
