Help! What is the best (least expensive?) way to ship large parts (wheels, frame, etc)? Anyone with experience or knowledge about postage costs is more than welcome to respond. Thanks. | ||

usps is probably the cheapest...but tracking ( i found) is not very good. ups and fed ex about the same price. | ||

Im done with fedex, $20 to ship a cheese grater from NY to Washington state. Found out later it would of been $5 including a tracking number from the post office. | ||

find a friend with a corporate UPS account, i ship through my local auto parts store, they get a corporate price, usually about 1/2 or less than standard UPS prices. better than USPS IMHO. i recently shipped a box that UPS quoted at $45.00, only cost $15.00 through the parts store! Check with FEDEX GROUND. I shipped a heavy frame & they took it as is bubble wrapped for $27. They are contracted out & their prices are better then normal FEDEX. Other then that, compare ups with USPS, sometimes USPS is cheaper. | ||

Grayhound is a good way to ship large or heavy parts at a Good price. |
