Sardawg - Unfortunately I already scheduled all of my time off this year. They sure did take their sweet time on releasing the schedule for the homecoming.

The 200 was a total joke. Way to take a 200 mile endurance race and turn it into a 6 lap sprint. How about that pit crew for Danny? I was bummed. Anyways Shawn finished well, hopefully we will be seeing quite a bit more speed out of the pit crews and some podiums for Buell.

Quick Reminder - March 15th, 1:00pm Buell of Bloomington!

I'm going to be in Indy this weekend. I just moved back to the area and don't know much about the Bloomington Meets. Can someone clue me in on what to expect? It's going to be a little cold this weekend. Are you Indy guys riding down to Bloomington? Just trying to get a feel for the Buell crowd up here in the North ; ) PM me if someone wants to meet up in Indy and head down.

don't know what to expect, as this is only our second try. the first time at southside was less than inspiring.

i hope that everyone who is considering attending will do so. riding groups are tenuous at best. it takes a lot of commitment to actually maintain one.

part of the fun of riding is the satisfaction of getting together in less than ideal circumstances. great-weather-only groups are destined to fail around here.

I'll be there. I am riding down from Bargersville as long as it isn't raining. If its raining I'll be down in my truck. Its still early in the year, hopefully we can get a decent turn out and lay down a good foundation for an active summer.

I will be down rain or shine on the Buell. I purchased heated gloves to extend the riding season and both my bikes have heated grips. Don't like to be cold but love to ride.
Indybuell-I live by 500N (Whileland rd) and will be heading south after church. Current plan is to ride down with a friend and could be in Bargersville around 11. Let me know if you want to join in.

when you get to morgantown, take lick creek road to 45 instead of 135. dumps you out on 45 just west of bean blossom. if you don't know it, take the time to look it up on google earth, map point,gazetteer, etc. i guarantee you will love it compared to 135............

I think we had 6 or 7 folks. It was a great turn out. Unfortunately I didn't have the time for the ride after the info exchange, but the ride down on 45 was probably more corners than I have taken in the last 6 months of riding! I have muscles that are sore that I didn't even know I had. What do we want to do in April? Any local racing season's begin? I believe that there is some racing over on the west side of Indy at the track behind Dancers on Washington Street.

It was great to meet you guys, I stuck with the ride down 450 as far as Shoals, then turned around to get my son this afternoon.

well, was not a real lucky day for me....
first i missed you guys because I was late, then, just before the exit bloomington I got pulled over…speeding ticket…75 in a 55 mile zone….hahaha …. Well, that’s life, but I have had a nice ride though….hope next time I’ll make it in time …

Sorry to hear about the bad luck. My whole trip was pretty LEO free, but I wasn't over the speed limit for much of it : )

NEVER SPEED MORE THAN FIVE OVER BETWEEN MARTINSVILLE AND BEDFORD !!!

the bloomington corridor is ALWAYS likely to be a speed trap. the state boys are in the middle of a 2 week blitz. sorry you got caught in it. it was in the paper and on tv before it started.

when coming to bloomington on 37, south of martinsville, you can get onto old 37 on your left (east) at the intersection where turkey trot is on your right (west). about 10 miles of pleasant snaky stuff with a minimum level of traffic and popo....

It was fun meeting the gang. Had a good ride down with Indybuell. And Indybuell had a great time leading the Harley parade. I rode Lick Creek Road south of Morgantown for the fist time and had no traffic in front of me. Including the normal 135 traffic running 5mph under the speed limit. Thanks fasted. The ride down 450 was good except Brian not seeing the white car setting on the side of the road and making a pass over the posted speed limit. I need to talk to that boy.

See you next month with a rebuilt shock.

Wanted to make it down for the ride but unfortunately the bike is not back together as of yet. I am going crazy with this nice weather and not being able to ride. hopefully she will be all done tomorrow and I will get to ride later this week.
