Sad day for the sport. One of the biggest supporters is no longer with us. Gruesome looking crash. http://msn.foxsports.com/boxing/story/9322180/Tapo uT-co-founder,-MMA-sponsor-dies-in-car-crash?MSNHP HMA |

Love MMA. Have my lunchtime BJJ class today at noon. I've always been confused about those three Tap-Out guys and their image, but you are right, biggest sponsor out there. Sad story. |

Yeah I saw that yesterday, very sad, they were very important in the growth of the sport. |

apparently those cars are completely "unsafe"!! i was not completely accepting of the image tapout was bringing to the sport, too much like "big time" wrestling. if i wanted all the theatrics, i would watch wrestling! i just want to see good, highly skilled fights. i'm a big fan of the gracie clan. |

That's sad. It just reminds me of all the stupid things I have done that didn't kill me. Lots of times the testosterone and adrenaline take over way before the brain steps up to reign things in. |

Fan of MMA for sure. Not a fan of tap out however. I prefer the sport to the image part of it. All the red necks round here put Tap Out stickers on their trucks and barrel through traffic like their gonna kick everyones azz. But did watch their show and he seemed to be a really good guy and provided a lot of support for upcoming fighters. He will be missed for sure. RIP |

It's too bad. I hate to see anyone end like this. I wasn't all that enthusiastic about the "Tapout" image. Tatted up theatrics aren't the direction I want to see the sport go. I do both BJJ and TKD. I really appreciate the art of both. The rest of it is just show. BIG props out to Randy Couture on his win! Fantastic fight executed perfectly. |
