Fairly sure this is not the factory setup for this model year, but my bike has two banjo bolts for the breather exit on the heads. Sometime late last year the bolt on the rear head backed out and was lost. Now comes spring time and i need a replacement, but the dealer can't look up the bolt because its the the correct setup for that year and i don't know what, if any, year it was used. Parts guy claims aftermarket, but i swore that i read it was a factory setup that was used on other/later models. A part number is really what i need at this point, but a year/model would be almost as helpful.

Thanks.

I have 2 stock breather bolts from my 00 x1 that you can have. Let me know if you want them.

They're not actually banjo bolts as the passage goes straight through the bolt as opposed to turning 90 degrees through a banjo bolt.

Thanks, but my bike *DOES* have a banjo bolt setup. i don't know if its off a big bike or what, but that p/n is for the regular straight fitting. So back to searching.

Lots of folks replace the stock breather bolts with banjo bolts when they modify their air cleaners or install catch cans. A banjo bolt can make the turn South to the catch can and still let you retain the stock airbox.
