We all B*tch about the sorry dealer we have to put up with BUT rarely post about the good. I just moved to Ohio and am not to far from 3 Buell dealers but the closest it Gover H-D/Buell. I needed a re-set done and called them yesterday and they ask if I could bring it in Saturday as they were short handed on Friday. So I showed up this morning and was warmly greeted by the staff! They jumped right on my bike and of course I got coffee! PLUS a Buell tire gauge! Sad that I was shocked to be treated like a valued customer not scum of the earth. No they didn’t have the “Wall ‘O Buell” stuff and only a few Buells on the floor BUT they simply treated me with a bit of respect and THAT’S what missing at a lot of dealerships IMHO. I’d order some things from them a week ago and part had shown up and they were sorry that the air box was taking so long to show up. (My bike had the Orange one and I wanted white) Needless to say where I’ll be spending MY money at. Back in Indiana as soon as the money was in the drawer from the day I picked up my Buell I was treated like crap by the dealer. So if you’re ever in Ohio off I-75 at Pequa, north of Dayton, and need some work stop in at Gover’s and say hello. BTW they did try and sell me a new XB12XT but I stayed with my STT! Heck it was such a nice day I did 350 miles before I got home! 74 and some sun just a bit windy. BUT it beats the 20-30s and snow and ice we've had! Even got to try out that new Fieldsheer jacket and Shoei I picked up. Birdy |

Hey Court while your sending notes out the Hd/Buell dealer in Taylor, Mi. is awesome they've helped me out twice now. Chris was the Service writer I worked with he just got moved to sales. Once was for the voltage regulator the week of the Indy MotoGP and the second was for a rear rockerbox oil leak they picked up and delivered the bike and I am approx 30miles from the dealership. |

Cool! It's Piqua, BTW, non obvious for sure. It was an old Shawnee town, the current city of Piqua is the second location where it has been. Between them, and F&S (which is also generally good), sounds like that stretch of 75 is a good one to break a Buell along... plan accordingly |

Here you are Court. I normally don't go on about service like this as I feel it their JOB. BUT it was nice to be treated like a person at a dealership. BTW I got your book for Christmas so if I make to homecoming I'll have to drag it up for you to sign! Gover's does have some overall nice people who seem glad to help. My own opinion is that F&S was horrible for years and Gover stole all the costumers from them simply due to their better/friendlier service. Now it really seems like F&S has turned around since they built their new building and it is nice to have two dealerships 10 minutes or so away that are willing to help. |
