What windscreen ? The one my CR has, is just to protect the back side of the gauge panel and smooth out the front of the bike a little. What wind protection...from an 8" wide piece of plastic? Mike |

YEah Mike, I guess one wd. have to make something themselves for more higher mph. For some wind protection, one thing that I really never cared for on the Cr`s.... |

Zero Gravity talked with me Rob at Skip FOrdyce HD/Buell in Riverside,CA about making one and taking or buying a stock windscreen to make a clear/smoked screen?. I own a slightly moded 1125CR now. Call them or contact them if they are still making the screen since they can buy one cheap to modify and make one. Im way too busy now with K&N/Jardine exhaust/pro-tuning 3 card/Dobeck tuning, etc. Good Luck. Rob Buell Specialist 951 785-0100 |

Umm. It's a naked bike. They have bikes with fairings, too. |

I am sure Stradas adjustable brackets can be adapted for the CR. I had them on my S and loved it.

Just watched on Speed TV ( KIT- An Autobody Experience ) where they made some headlight and tail light lens covers for a GT, out of Plexi glass black.. They cut to shape heated in over at 375 Degs. for like 3 or 4 mins. and then bend into shape really Sharp ( Replace the whole headlight outer unit maybe )...www.speedtv.com maybe this link there will show ya not sure: http://www.speedtv.com/programs/kit-an-autobody-experience/ Wonder IF this would work? What ya guys think? (Message edited by hogs on March 07, 2009) (Message edited by hogs on March 07, 2009) |

I've seen this fairing on a few CR models - looks like a lot of thought went into the wind protection idea. Oh wait... you bought the wrong bike |
