(Not a admin) Screw it, give it a shot. Worst comes to worse it gets deleted, but I don't see why it would. |

Make sure you put in enough info so I can steal your identity.

Go for it, what's the worst that can happen? You're not trying to sell a product so i don't see that it infringes the sponsorship rules. You're just selling yourself. Ooer that sounds a bit risky now that I've read what I wrote, but you know what I mean. Best of luck. |

I was wondering if I could post an upcoming job in my office but wasn't sure if it was okay to do so. My question to the moderators is, can we start a thread somewhere on jobs we know of that are available? "Due to the Hazardous Economy here are some jobs available in the USA." K |

Great idea, some type of networking thread by job type and or area. I am in Colorado and will be in the job market in Sep. I have applied for a few positions in the local area but nothing so far. I will not hit panic mode until the 1st of Oct. I am a DoD Contractor. Skills are Enterprise Architecture, Intel (SIGINT), Space Systems and Computer Network Operations. I am not sure I want to do any of those things anymore LOL. I am also on Linkedin which is a good networking web site. Frank |

Frank, check out Verizon. I know Wireless has operations in CO. and it's not a bad company to work for, speaking as a former SIGINT guy myself. |

I will be putting out feelers for a certified locksmith that would like to go into the field of working with GSA safes and could get a US gov't clearence. The guy I trained under is retiring late this year. That's as much information as I want to post. Anybody interested would have to PM me for more details. Basically what I would do is point you to the HR people on the external web-site to apply when the position comes open. So it would be insider info when the job is posted, and it's all about who you know. K |

Frank - the little company I work for is doing some hiring in the Denver area (and for some positions outside your area, will pay relocation expenses) Job Offerings Search site |

Slaughter, I used to work for that "little" company and am a sub to them now. Thanks for the heads up. The external view of the LM job site does not show if the position is a blue sky req or not. I will have one of my LM co-workers pull something up. I have stayed out of Denver (Buckley) for a while maybe it is time to give into the dark side and go back to the Death Star... Thanks. Frank |

I can most likely place a highly qualified and highly skilled HVA/CR technical person with building systems skills and chiller/commercial DX abilities and commercial refrigeration/ice maker skills. If not "right now"...then later in the spring. |

The company I work for is looking for a programmer analyst with working experience in Pick or Multi Value programming experience. It's in the Tampa area and expected time frame would be in the next month to two months. I don't have much pull but can point you in the right direction. PM me for details. |

Clutchless, I'm not speaking for the majority of the mods, just me, but I don't see a problem with your idea. Probably here on the QB is the best place - maybe just continue running with this thread, or start a new thread if you want, title it appropriately, and lay out some ground rules in the initial post as to what you're trying to accomplish and what you'd like to see in the way of info exchange protocol. Run with it, bro, and see what happens. Good luck! Ferris |

Thanks for the responses all. I appreciate the time taken. So anyways: H-D "hands-on trained" tech looking for work anywhere below the snow belt that has work. Mind you I'm in OHIO...booooo.... 4-5 years Big-twin and sportster service experience, able to do any service work, motors, suspension, brakes you name it. no buell training my past dealership did not sell buells, nor support them. VERY WILLING TO RELOCATE. Looking for any dealership work F.Y.I., no sales liscence but I am a parts junkie. Has "almost" anything you would need equipment wise to do service maintenance/repair on H-D models, and some Buell know how. Motor work, no problem, dyno tuning...not the best but better than some. Not gonna say I'm gonna tru a crank pin by hand cause I cant, but I do know how to read and its gotten me this far in the industry Kind of got the short end of the stick, being the up and comer in my shop to a lot of aged knowledge,I went within the first few when it comes down to cut-backs at work. Nothing wrong with my work ethic or interest in the motor co., just didnt have the funds to keep me around the entire winter this year sweeping floors and shoveling snow for my tech wage, so I parted ways rather than part my check in half. I dont think its because the industry is dying either, just narrowing down. Not a lot of tolerance for a so-so dealership from a customers point of view these days. Just kind of throwing my hat in this ring. Anymore info would be greatly appreciated, ANY INFO AT ALL! And hell, we do need a job listing section on here dont we? |

if you come to florida, you'll find out that alot of the buell/hd employees switch job locations with other stores as much as hef switches wifes or twins or triplets. which ever gets his fancy. |
