I had to take the flyscreen off my 09 Ss last night to plug the parking lamp that had fallen out back into my headlight housing. I noticed there was a connector with a dummy end plugged into it. There are two wires in it; an orange and black. Is this for the heated handgrips or something? I'm looking to wire in an aux socket to plug my GPS into. |

Yep that sounds like the Aux connector for the Buell heated grips. Feel free to tap into that. |

Re the DVM check: I thought I had a bad relay when I checked the acc plug under the flyscreen on my '08TT, because I had no volts when turning the ignition on. If you have no power, try starting the bike. That's what worked on mine. Couldn't read a wiring diagram like I thought. All was well. |

Yes on 08 and newer bikes the Accessory like is controlled by the ECM. |
