Put Willie on the 1125R and watch the die hard Harley riders go berserk. LOL! I was leaving the dealer the last time I was there, and three of us were walking out in full gear and I heard the comment, "What are those racers doing here?". LOL!  Racer! I wish! Go Buell!! I can't wait to see the race! | ||

I thought that it was great to see and talk to all the HD people supporting Buell in the promo tent and the demo trailer at the moto gp in Indy last year. At first I thought that they were probably being forced into it some how but after talking to several of them it was very obvious that they truly wanted to be there. I Hope that Willie G`s support at Daytona is only the tip of the iceberg and that HD will help push Buell to the top where Buell belongs!! Please pardon my bias statement but I`m getting excited about the big race! | ||

Anyone ever see Jon Flickinger walking around? I have yet to see him in orange and black....usually Buell Blue....and that includes the day I saw him at the winter Dealer Show. He's also wrenching on a bike in the pits in the DNA video on buell.com. The support is there, believe me. | ||

Dalton_gang It’s a privilege to work a rally for HD/Buell. As an employee you can only work one Rally every three years. There is a lottery at the first of the year and everyone puts in their name but only about 3% get to go. Most of the HD guys and gals pick HD type rallies and the sport bike riders pick Buell type rallies. Its loads of fun, like a working vacation. You get to meet all kinds of riders, meet HD/Buell employees from other plants. Get to pick a bike, for the night, to ride after work. I’ve been to two Rallies, Americade in Lake George, NY and the Honda Hoot In Ashville NC. Both were within riding distance from home. I have a good friend/co-worker that did Indy last year, other than the High winds he had fun! | ||

What a cool picture. Good on Willie G/ HD Bring some of the 800# (H-D) gorilla to the Buell name. At the same time, don't get too wavy with the H-D moniker (AKA VR1000 effort)- let Buell do their deal\ Hooray! | ||

That's an accurate statement. Make all the comments you want about the "Big Bad Mothership" but Wille G and the Davidson family are genuine, "faster is better and there is nothing like winning" race fans. I heard a story once, and I'm not sure it wasn't Father Gess telling it, about a Sunday dinner at the Davidson house when the VR program was disbanded. Willie G can and will likely play a huge role in advancing Buell's racing opportunities. If ya'll recall we wrote some letters after the debut of the XBRR . . I intend to again. | ||
