A couple weeks ago I asked about the mods on a bike I was looking to buy. Well, I bought it this past weekend and got some decent pictures. To recap, it has a Buell race kit (intake, ECM and exhaust with ceramic-coated headers), oil cooler and a 1250cc kit with Nallin Stage II heads and compression raised to 10.5:1. It dyno’d at 100 hp and 94 ft-lbs at the wheel. Here are the pictures. Sorry for the poor quality but it was getting dark and I didn't have a very good camera. That was a very unsuccessful attempt to post pictures for the first time. I used imagelink{URL} and used my photobucket html code. What did I do wrong? |

Thanks! That thing on the seat is a mounting strap for a tank bag. Oddly enough, the owner can't find the bag so it's not doing much good on the bike right now. |

Do you have the strap that goes around the frame in front of the fuel tank cover? There should be a strap up there with 2 more clips that attach to the front of the tank bag. Great looking bike! |

If you can score an Amigo tank bag that's what that strap is for. Very handy for packing a lunch or putting a jacket in for later in the evening. I can get an entire rain suit in it. There should also be a harness that wraps around the frame between the tank and triples to secure the front straps as Pk indicated. Hope you have as much fun with yours as I have with mine, got 9 years of smiles under my belt so far. |

I did a quick search for the Amigo bag and found nothing! They must be pretty hard to come by. I do have the strap for the front of the tank too, so I hope I can find the bag itself. |

did you put a \ in front of the imagelink without a space? Also, you have to paste a "direct link" to the pic, not a general URL.. So, right click the image, click on "copy image address" and paste that one in the middle of the {} |

Thanks Brin. I had one character wrong in each link and that prevented it from posting correctly. |

Awesome, killer power and looks so close to stock trim. What a great buy! It really looks sweet! ...well, maybe trim the rear fender a bit, I forget how big they are from the factory... Congratulations! |

When I got mine it was gone, so I never saw one with it, but you're right Buggies, that mud-flap has gotta go! |

The rear fender and license plate bracket are definitely the weak points on the styling. They're at the top of my list of things to change, as evidenced by my "License Plate Bracket Modification" thread. |

"but you're right Buggies, that mud-flap has gotta go!" That's funny. I had too look at the Classifieds for months before I could find one for sale... Keeps the under tail clean. I must be in a minority... |

looks like an oil/air separator from an air compressor. most likely used as a catch can for the breathers. |
