I'm in.
I agree to act soon, but present the offer at the next meeting, give a deadline from that day, say two weeks to get you the funds and purchase them together as a group.
There are seating charts of the track on line.
Research hotels if you can and maybe find one closer and maybe somewhat tidier than than last year's. |

Do we want to sit where we sat last year? Or should we try something else? Do we want to stay downtown this time? Do you think it is ok to wait until the next meeting to get things together? I always plan way ahead for events like this. |

Glad you bought a CR that is awesome, our meetings are held at Illinois Harley in Berwyn the 1st Thursday of every month at 7:00pm. Please just stop on in, the meetings are in the south showroom of the dealership in a side room. Sorry I've been so lax on this but everything just kept getting in my way. 
Anyway I've brought the website pretty much up to date, added Greg's memorial graphic, and made a lot of little changes. I know there's still a lot that can be added to calendar, please email me at work or bring to the next meeting events you'd like included.

Sorry to hear that you can't make it, thats a real bummer but thanks for letting me know. I'm trying really hard to keep tabs on our numbers. We stand now at 12 racers which is excellent. I'm sure that someone will post right here on BadWEB who ends up winning the heat and the final races so don't worry.

dana, i don't think anyone knows anything about homecoming yet... keep an eye on the badweb "quick board". it will definitely be posted there probably within minutes of buell's announcement. |

Nice Frank... Who has a FOID card so we can buy more ammo? Was trying to figure out what kind of bike that is and then saw the valve cover to a Chevy V8 poking out. Its a Boss Hoss!
Here are some pics of my own and an update for those that weren't at the last meeting:
I bought a bus! Yes, a full length bus with a bathroom already in it. Originally bought it for Burning Man, but I plan on using it for track days, drag racing nights and possibly Buell trips down south too. I just bought a U-Haul type aluminum pull out ramp from a truck junkyard (thanks Tim) and now I'm figuring out how to install it. I'm hoping to fit 4 or 5 bikes inside and another one on the back. Still plenty of room inside for riders, gear, etc. Now we'll have a place to hang out at the track with a roof, seats and a comfy couch! Plus an observation deck too  .

FLY! You exist! I park the bus on the street and feed 6 parking meters all day.. LOL.. I rent a space in a lot on the near west side (industrial area) with a couple of trucks. Yes Dana, AC on the bus but I need a generator to run it. Plan on having one by August, not sure about before then.
Expect a couple of new faces Thursday (and maybe Fly?). I have a couple of Honda guys I ride with signing up and looking forward to the track day sign up promo. They may bring others... |

Dan Schmitt stopped in today, the Team Chicago race school at Grattan Raceway will be on Sat April 4th. Pre Entry fee is $30, at the track $50. I'll have the entry forms at the meeting on Thurs.

Kart night was a BLAST!!! I really had a good time. I too had some unusual aches the next day. When I got in the car to leave the track, the steering wheel seemed so easy to turn after driving those carts all night . Thanks for arranging everything Kurt. |

Good! Glad to hear it! It was a blast, I'm glad to hear everyone had fun, everyone really raced their a$$es off. It was no problem setting everything up; we could do it again very easily gives us something to look forward to at the end of riding season I think  If anyone is interested in keeping up racing there, I plan to keep going there on a regular basis if anyone wants to race with me let me know.

I'm sorry your ribs still hurt but at least it was worth it right? I'm looking forward to our next meeting, I'm sure bragging rights will be flying.
