Author Message   Chasespeed Posted on Saturday, February 28, 2009 - 08:46 pm:        can i do it with a paint brush and roller? if so i'm in, i've always wanted to hillbilly the shit out of some ones car with a brush! HA... sad thing is, at this point, I would almost be all good for it... if I could have found a BLUE bed, I would be fine... but, its the northeast, and Dodges rot.... so.. I have a BLUE cab, with some forward cab corner repair, and a MAROON(or DEEP red)/ over grey 2 tone bed... just want it one color... I dont know if I want to paint the bed to match the cab(cab could use a fresh coat), or just paint whole thing Satin Black(this is what I REALLY want).... Anyway.... While I got to go out and play yesterday, at least for the time my kid was in school... I REALLY need to get off my a$$ and finish the Buell, as its almost REALLY play time.... Can anyone refresh my memory? front drive sproket... 1 7/8 socket for that right? (tuber, but, I dont think it matters)... Apparently not all my tools made it, and I cant find my larger sockets and wrenches.... Cracked magneto cover on the Dirtbike yesterday, oil all over, also disgusting. It is march first, though, and we get to turn the clocks ahead next week! I ONLY blew the trans output shaft seal, no blueing/cooked metal, bearings look great, gears look good.... Good day.... That damn crankshaft seal is ALREADY tearing apart... thinking I should check my breathers/umbrella valves, or switch to PCV... Okay, so, does anyone have a clutch tool? Thinking of replacing all that while I have it apart anyway.... Off to Sheldons to order parts... In my "connector" case above,it's a common Duc failure.Tho the solution escapes me   Chasespeed Posted on Monday, March 02, 2009 - 06:18 pm:        Sure was, I was procrastinating, since, you know, I couldnt ride it, and I though I would be shelling out good money for gears, bearings, etc.... Guess when the crank seal popped again, that was all the trans seal could take.. took both out... Guess the only reason I didnt toast the trans, was it was getting oil from the motor Also on that run, toasted the fork seals.... and I am going to let someone else mess with these for a change... Anyway, somehow, Sheldons, had EVERYTHING except the crank seal, which should be in later this week... So, off I go to put it mostly back together.. EDIT, damn preview.... I meant to post this at 5... Oh, well, there is ANOTHER part on order, I smashed my hand, and the kid has a lump and black-eye... guess from now on she will stay outta the damn basement... she somehow managed to get under-foot, and tripped me, while I was carrying said transmission...smashed my hand between that, and the basement floor, breaking the detent arm... and she got knocked into the bench as I tripped over her.... Guess today didnt turn out so good.... she said she will NEVER EVER go into anywhere I am working though.... It starts around 8:30'ish. I don't get home till 6:00'ish I can toss something on the grill to feed ya, Wings / Burgers / dogs. BYOB or drink my Whiskey, your choice.
