I don't know if any of you Wisconsin riders are interested in this or not. I just thought I would post it for anybody who was. A friend and I went the the first meeting yesterday (in Kaukauna) and it was a great group of riders. The guy who got it started said Buells would be a great addition to the group. There is a mailing list for rides, events, and meetings if you contact the guy at the end of this message. I met a lot of cool people. My buddy bought a titled and complete CB550 for $75.00, and I got a contact for a bike I had been looking for. "Just a quick update... We now have, at least, 25+ really nice bikes! From a '65 SuperHawk (Bill M.) and a '66 Triumph Street Tracker (Rick S.) to a '74 Norton Commando (Lon A.) a beautiful collection of '80's 250-350 two-stroke Yamahas (Randy A.), several '90's Ducatis all the way up to a '06 MV Agusta F41000 (Kyle S.)...watch out for the Italians I guess! But MY true love, the Cafe Racers, will definately be all over the place...(10 or 15 already but feel free to let others know about this...it's going to be awesome!!) I can't wait to see all these bikes together, all of you have some really REALLY nice iron! (almost as nice as mine!) LET'S RIDE!! Anyway, the first club meet has been scheduled for the LAST SATURDAY IN FEBURARY at a 'yet to be decided' location...any suggestions? ...what would be perfect would be a little pub, about 1/2 way between GB and Appleton...any ideas? All I could find Online was Beefeaters British Pub in Grand Chute...anyone been there? I hope you can all make it, It will be a great chance to meet some other riders with similar interests, talk shop...and, oh yea, anyone go for a beer or two?" cafe_racer7@sbcglobal.net |

Theres a local club that does a vintage Isle of TT Rally ... requires you to be on a bike no less than 20 years old, and no more than 500cc's.... This is the year I do that race. |
