when i bought the xt 2 weeks after march badness last year, the first thing i noticed when i rode it 600 miles the next day to take it from tampa to greenville sc, was that the windscreen really sucked(no offense erik) but the turbulance created so much sound that i was so happy to get off that bike. and even after swapping with chrisgrant for his standard windscreen i had to ditch the windscreen alltogether. hence finding something to fill in the holes.  yea, i know, it dirty. (rather be riding than washing any day) but i figured i would try the strada bracket and see what happens.  and along with the brackets i got a higher wind screen from Iain(helluva nice guy)to see if that would help. the problem though is that i put it on during the windiest day we've had so i couldn't tell an awful lot as to how much it really helps but it did cut some of the noise down. probably just have to play with the adjustments a little. |
