Ok I picked up a Garmin Nuvi 350 refurb cheap. If I mount it to my handle bars will the Ulys vibration kill it? Or should I just stick it in the window of my tank bag ? It works great in the car but the Subby is pretty smooth. |

Get a ram mount for it, and avoid rain. http://products.ram-mount.com/rammount/productdeta il.aspx?partnumber=RAM-B-149z-GA21U |

Dunno about a Nuvi (it's a little bigger), but my Quest II works just fine on my Uly bars. |

I have the Nuvi, and the above advice is dead on: Ram mount (short or long arm) and zip lock bags in the rain. 10,000 miles, and all is well. |

Uly1080, Do you plug your NUVI into the 12v plug on the dash? I have plugged my NUVI in and the first NUVI plug lasted about 2 days then it rattled inside and did not work anymore. The second plug lasted about 2 hours... I don't think they can handle the vibs. Now I just us it with battery power but that does not last all day. In fact I think the battery life keeps getting shorter. |

If it's the same power source as either a Quest, or a Zumo, contact Garmin. I got the parts seperately to put my Quest on the Uly, and it came with the wiring that plugs right into the power outlet harness behind the flyscreen. Plug-n-play. Bag it was in had a Garmin part number on it. Either that, or get a "motorcycle kit" for it online. My Quest has the power supply built into the cig lighter plug on the car kit, but the bike kit has it built into the cradle itself so the wiring/plug connector can be smaller. Gives you a larger cradle, but.... |

Yes, I plug the Nuvi into the dash, and have had no problems thus far. |

I got a 5 volt power adapter and wired it direct to power and have the mini usb jack at the 350 location. I really like the 350 and have a baggie for the rain. Jeff |
