Need a truck! I have drove a leased jeep for the last three years but finally got out of that bad mistake the first of this month. Now im driving a 92 camry that needs struts and leaks oil like its free. I have about 2k and was hoping the camry would last about six months so I could save another 3k to put towards a decent truck. After putting about 700 miles on the camry im questioning if I dare wait. If my buell was running and I didnt have to worry about getting my daughter around I would risk it. Im thinking that isnt a wise choice though So anyone know anyone selling a decent truck for around 2k? Im hoping someone here can help me get one of those "kick ass, one in a million deals". Thanks.. I drove the shlt out of a '92 Camry. It had a bad oil leak when I bought it for $1k with 185k miles on it. The dude I bought it from took very good care of it but was getting repeatedly scammed by a shifty mechanic who sort of convinced him that the car was on its last legs. I fixed a clogged PCV tube, put a new oil pan gasket and valve cover gasket, and drove it for 60k miles over three years. I sold it for $1500. The PCV tube clogs on those cars and causes them to build crankcase pressure which blows gaskets. In other words, I would bet on the Camry if it were me. | ||

for 240k miles the engine runs really smooth, I was surprised. I do have a oil leak which appears to be coming from the oil pan so I will check into the PCV tube. I was hoping someone here had the hook up on auction cars or something and could help me snag a small ranger\s10\tacoma style pickup though. I have see where could year old fleet trucks w/ a decent amount of miles go for cheap but you need to be in the "know" to snag them. | ||

They tend to clog not in the actual tube, but where the tube connects to the intake manifold. It's an opening a little smaller than a pencil, IIRC. Once I fixed that and the gaskets, it never leaked for the rest of the time I owned it. | ||

Hi,guys! I need a new Buell and I am considering a Blast. I remember a few months ago there was a cafe racer blast in the back of a Fuell, which I now cannot find that I would love to look at again. Does anyone know the bike I'm talking about and have any info on it or a copy of the Fuell it was featured in that I could sneak a peek at? I hope you all are well!
