hey nutz, me too! this one is a bit worse for wear. i offered him 800 after a 3 hour drive, and he wouldn't take it. it is real rough, the best part about it is the PM wheels are in pretty good shape. every other part is rough!! all the CF is cheap aftermarket stuff, and unlike described, each piece has some crack or another!!! the forks and wheels where about the only parts worth having. the frame has some minor mods, the front cylinder has the front mounting boss welded back on. the muffler is some hideous garage welded contraption. the switchgear is all beat up. headlight is broken. missing axle nut. he claims the wheels are worth 800 and the forks 500, not today my friends, not today! not worth the 1000.00 that he won't budge from. came home with an empty truck....oh well still don't have my 5th buell!!! | ||

Sleez,Keep calling him back every few weeks and see if he changed his tune, as beat as you say it is, he will be lucky to get the $800.you offered. It might be worth the call. | ||
