I'm parting out a 2000 x1 and have seen around the forum that lots of people like the all black motor look. Here's your chance for that all black motor in whatever project you've got in mind. The cams are spoken for already, but the rest of the motor is there. It's got 24k miles and change, a baker smooth shift kit in the tranny and the rest is stock. Stator and rotor were replaced and have been in the motor for about 7k miles.I've got a spare intake manifold and new injectors as well if you're interested. Let me know what your offers are and in the process ill decide if I should sell the motor as a unit or tear it down further. |

I'll take the Baker smooth shift kit if it goes down further. Thanks, Frank. |

Keep me updated. I have a partial motor, but I am missing one of the inner cases and the cam outside case. REX Let me know what you would need to have for it..... |

$2000 shipped would buy the motor. I've received a lot of interest in parts already this afternoon, and would rather see this motor back into a Buell than go to someone's chopper project. That's why it's not on eBay |

You don't have to worry about the chopper crowd buying it, they don't have the required skill or knowledge to actually work on a motor. |
