I have the Buell Race Exhaust which needs to be repainted as it has rust growing on it. The only problem is that the previous owner(s) put the bike down and the muffler is scraped up. The rust is breeding in these scrapes, aside from steel wool and a wire brush, what can I use to remove the rust from the scrapes so that I don't need to do this again? I realize that buying a new muffler is probably the ideal solution but I don't have the cash lying around for this. Thanks B.A. |

Bead blasting. I take my D&D muffler and mid pipe in every two years for a blasting. A repaint with high temperature paint and good to go. |
