What are the seat options for the 1125r. Don't really see many options and looking for opinions on what's out there. |

Got a firebolt Corbin on mine and it is great. You have to make your own brackets to bolt it down but it is not that hard, I just took some metal L brackets and made mine took about 10 minutes. But it is a very comfortable seat, a whole lot better than the stock seat. |

1) Buell select seat (available from dealer) $150 2) Corbin $269. If you go this route, order one for a Firebolt. 3) Send the seat to a place that will customize it to your posterior I went with option 1 and I am pleased with it |

I wonder why Corbin doesn't make one for the 1125R? |

I use the firebolt custom seat from Buell. It works fine for me and is a significant improvement over the stock seat. Not bad for $150. Mike |

Thanks for the input. The seat seems a little hard for me. I don't think I weigh enough to to compress the foam. Its fine on the short trips I've been allowed to ride it due to the weather. But don't think it'll be comfortable enough on some of the trips I'd like to make this year. Mike |

Hope I'm not TOO off-topic here, but I have a deluxe touring pillion seat for my wife. It's made for the Firebolt (and has a Firebolt emblem embroidered) but it's nearly 3 inches thick and, she says, far more comfortable. $130 or so. |

Gearhead, try shifting your seating position back on the seat. I just can't get over how comfortable I am on this bike. It doesn't make any sense that it is a rider friendly as it is. ..... R |

+1 on the Custom Firebolt seat. I really enjoy mine. I Had it on the bike for my "1500-miles in 3 days" trek... butt still got sore, lol. I think it has to do more with my physiology than anything. I can't sit still in a chair longer than 20 minutes or so without getting uncomfortable and shifting my weight. |

It's a Buell part and, I believe, in the Buell catalog (look in the Firebolt section). Ask at your local HD/Buell dealer. One caveat: it does NOT fit under the cowl. So you'll either ditch the cowl or do like I did and only bring out the comfy chair when the little lady wants a ride. |

Pridayr I have tried shifting my position. It works. I'm coming off a Harley and this is my first sport bike so its a bit of a learning experience. I'm also on the short side so I have a tendency to sit forward on the seat. Its definitely more comfortable when I sit back. Thanks for the input. |

I have the Buell Firebolt Select seat /Tour seat. I have made several 400 mile days, a 600, 700 and a 900+. The OEM seat went on the garage wall the first day. Z |

Does the Firebolt select/tour seat have the Firebolt logo on it? I've heard that it does, but have never seen a pic that shows it. I saw pics showing a pegasus on the side of it, but never a Firebolt logo... |

No just a Pegasus on each side. The tour Pillion(passenger) has the Firebolt logo. Z |
