I have seen it and heard it. It is extremely high quality, takes up very little space, and is loud. Dyno numbers have been posted- they're not suspect, just actual numbers. If anyone has reservations about the exhaust, there's no rush for you to buy one- wait until the owners post their opinions. If anyone is excited about the exhaust, but questions the quality/performance- just look at Drummer's track record... not too many dissatisfied customers out there. If it's just a cost issue- superior products carry a higher price tag. Marketing is probably not even on Kevin's list of priorities- his products speak for themselves. |

+1 RBJ. This is not Sony or Purina we're talking about here. There is no marketing department. They don't need one. Rob |

IMO you are either going to buy it or your not. Everyone should know buy now the quality of work Kevin puts out. Give it time and I'm sure someone will have more pic's, sound clips, and dyno results. RB |

Marketing? I guess dyno runs data, sound clips & photos could be considered marketing. I would consider them basic fundamental items for anything of this nature sold over the internet, but that's just me. At the price of the Drummer, it is a major purchase for most. Any prudent person would want more quality info on item. If the Drummer is THAT good (and I am not saying it isn't,) one would think that Kevin and compaany would be extremely pressed to get the information published. Cell phone pics of the exhaust unmounted? Not enough. |

fresno, if you need info heres my cell #... 828-381-7546 does any other Co. give you that...sorry for the no marketing, but if I spend my time marketing I can't build anything, guess you have to decide if we need to market or build....I have a list as long as the bike for orders already so I guess I better close the laptop and get to work.... I gotta tell you this thread is really starting to peeve me. The 1st Drummer has been delivered, it looks good, and I still don't know where I'm at on the 'list'. BUT...it DOES look very nice. Get back to work building 'em Kevin, or I'm gonna start stealing Rob's line w/ minor modification, "Is MINE ready yet?"

This pipe sound like no other I have ever heard. Kevin was saying "NASCAR" - big block nasty mean. He was right. I was hoping the pipe would have the "traditional "Drummer Sound"- bass-y, and this one does not disappoint. As I was backing it off the lift, it was blowing sh** out the door like a leaf blower. If you like to dust up your buddies on start up you'll love it! Coolest sounding pipe I have ever heard. No BULL.

Cool pictures DS. My issue right now is still this...is there going to be an issue with fitment between early and late 08 models. I'm assuming it was designed on a later 08/09 bike. Pics had been posted before to show there was a difference between early and late 08 down pipes where they crossed eachother there was a 1~2 mm difference. Since the connector pip from drummer is solidly welded is this going to cause problems when installing? Might I be able to wait till the 12k service...lower the engine...loosen the pipes up and get a fitment that way? Or are early 08 and later models different downpipes. I don't know if this problem even transfers down to the muffler...if the muffler is exactly the same, then fitment shouldn't be an issue. Anyone out there with an EARLY 08 bike that order the drummer yet? Mind posting feedback on how well it installed? ST Oh. P.S. Wow...that thing is just a straight shot through. Steel - The initial fitment I made was on my bike which is a very early one - November '07 as I recall. Kevin subsequently checked my fitment on a Jan '08 bike. You can see that it fits perfectly on Steve's '09 bike above. It's a non-issue |

Tim, Kevin can tell you what paint to use. I'm not sure how it will hold up under the heat but we are expecting the pipes to run just a bit cooler. |

I just want all of you to know that you all suck. Now that I have seen this pipe I have to totally change my exhaust and tuning plans. Thanks A LOT Kevin! You just had to go and make the best looking pipe I have ever seen for the 1125 and then tell me it sounds good too! Keep it up! |

I'm gonna go out on a limb, here, and say "yes"..... Should have a lot more bass, and less treble than supertrapp or d&d. Rob |

A guy I work with just figured out the method Kevin used to come up with the price... He just took the number of posts on the Drummer thread (543) and multiplied by the industry standard $1.80 for each post... Sorry guys......... Rob (Message edited by carbonbigfoot on February 20, 2009) |

Ride impression This pipe makes the bike feel like it has an extra 200cc's It makes significantly more power than the Jardine. Fit to my 09 CR was perfect and took 1/2 hour. Did I mention it sounds great? Oddly enough- with the Jardine, the bike "hammered" out the power pulses, this pipe seems to smooth the pulses- FWIW. KD Fab has a winner. Big Time. |
