It has been a while since I have seen a inquiry as to how many miles the Uly's have gone. My '06 is at 35,000 and hanging due to a long, cold, crappy winter. The weather the past few winters would have had it over 40,000. But what the heck, I haven't had any where to go anyway. Stupid slow economy! |

I'm with you Vern...still holding around 35,000 on my 2006. But we have had a very mild winter here in Colorado...so my excuse is how much time I have been putting into building a house! I will have to do some making up this summer. (Message edited by maximum on February 19, 2009) |

40,000 on my 2006. Coaching soccer for my daughter's team has really put a damper on riding time. |

8k on the '06 Uly I had. 8k on my '08 Uly since August. Been spending most of my winter riding time on the dualsport bike. Keeping the adventure sportbike for drier, less road salted miles. NUTS |

I'm still stuck @ 7K. Heading down to Ariz next week so should have over 10 upon return. Put more on the KLR lately. Now that I'm reretired / layed off since yesterday things should pick up. Jerry - how many miles did you have on your 06' ? Any more problems with the instrument cluster on the 08? j |

Almost 20K on my 06. Would be a few more but have supplemented my riding with a Bmw G650X. Why didnt Buell go ahead with their dirt concept? Forced me to get another brand! |

I worship you guys with high mileage on 06's. I've got about 13,000 on my '06 (bought in 2006) and mine even survived a massive deer crash. I LOVE the bike. I also ride a very tempting Harley-Davidson, which has quite a few miles on it, so I add the two together. I'll be commuting more during better weather this year... |

I only have about 18,000 on my '06. Lately I don't have time to take any long rides, so all my rides have been short half hour stuff. And for that, because the roads around here are so boring, I usually just grab the KLX and head into the woods. I ride the Uly every day to school, but it's only a 15-mile round trip, so that sure doesn't rack up any miles! |

i have 23k + on my 06. would have a few more but almost totaled it with 8k. rebuilt, including new frame and worked great since. 3 track days, mountain riding, and everything in between, including hitting a deer last Mo. killed the deer and had hair jammed between the front tire and rim so tight i couldn't pull it out. didn't crash and no apparent damage to the bike. we continued on for 2oo miles after that. a whole herd crossed in front of me. if I'd been in a car would probably have got 3-4 and major damage to the car. but at least i could have taken home some deer steaks. |

33k on mine, I need to ride more. Lost a belt at just under 30k, but I am riding aggressively, did off roading, and lack belt guards. (Message edited by Froggy on February 20, 2009) |

Well, my '06 had 55,600 miles when it met its untimely end. Starting over at 10,000+ miles. Sigh. --Doc |

I did change my belt at approx 30k due to it being stretched and getting ready to leave on a 5k trip. Still keep it as a spare cause it is easy to put on. |

I have over 12000 miles so far on my 08 uly. I bought mine in april 08. I love living in sunny fla! IT's my p/u truck. The other day I had to make some repairs to fence I built for a customer so I loaded up my chipping hammer,saws-all,bag of concrete on the Uly and headed out you should see the look on peoples faces when they see me pull up! I just tell them "its the newest f150! (Message edited by blk_uly on February 21, 2009) |

'06 just went over 38,000 this week. I also replaced the Belt and rear bearings @36,000. Good thing.. the bearings were pretty much toast. |
