can you check the fork oil with out taking them apart? |

Drain & refill with the specified amount. I don't think there is a way to check it. Are your seals leaking? |

You have to remove the top cap and remove the spring. Go by oil level height, not quantity. It's all in the Factory Service Manual... |

Just checked the fork oil in my 1997 S3T today ... It was not all that hard to do ... Was just a "THINK" and "DO" !!! |

there was some stuff on the lower right axle bolt.guessing old oil? when you put the spring back in the tube, do you have t use a special tool? |
