Can someone tell me if a 2007 lighting air box cover, the one with the buell label on it, will fit my 2005 firebolt? Will most of them fit from different years? Thanks! |

The 2007 will fit earlier XBs, and could give you a boost in the midrange. Lots of riders of the earlier models buy these to get a bit more of a kick. |

Thanks for the info. I recently purchased a damaged one on ebay. I plan to customize it by putting scoops on it like the carbon fiber one from asb, only it will be my own design. It seems to me that a lot of people are looking for these without spending to much. I hope to make it by riding season. I'll post pics when i get started. |

Does the boost in midrange effect low end torque? |

I have a 2007, it came with it, and so it is difficult to compare. The feedback is that the response is smoother, with the main effect in the midrange. On an XB12 starting around 4,000 RPM and getting a bit closer to 5,000 on an XB9, which I guess is a little above mid range |
