So, two weeks into my first Buell experience things are going pretty well. >600 miles on the odometer so through the break-in. Kept to the rules and followed the advice offered here to fluctuate the engine speed for the first 500 miles. Getting ~40-41mpg on the last tank - so decent for a new motor based on what I have read here. The only issue thus far - the right front turn signal went out, thought it was a bulb, but turned out to be a one of the two connections had come adrift behind the fly screen...easy fix. Man ... those grips are hot on the high setting.... Have mounted the Touratech 35L cases, oil cooler guard, taller screen (Buell variety - works well, better chest protection, no head buffeting up to 80mph), TomTom mount and the ugliest looking EZ Pass mount you could find. This is an AWESOME ride..... |

Kurbennett will do in the next week or so..darn camera needed charging. The Harley guys I ride with want to stick 'Good Humor' and popsicle signs on them....no taste those chrome & polish guys. Next up the fan ribbing, I just told them the high pitched noise meant the Uly fan was the original "Screaming Eagle". LOL |
