I have a problem with the lenght of the cables. I installed the hypercharger but now i can't install o2 sensor in it because the cables are too short. Will there be any problem if i cut the cable and make them longer? And what is the best way to do that? thanks |

really nobody know how that sensor works? I would really need to make the cables longer, but i'm afraid that i'll change the impedance and the sensor won't send the right informations... |

You want to install an O2 sensor in the hypercharger? The O2 sensor is in the exhaust pipe. Or do you mean the IAT intake air temp sensor? |

IAT sensor? Probably you're right, and i meant IAT sensor... It's sensor which is installed inside of filter that is in airbox...? |

I think the IAT is an ordinary thermistor which uses copper wiring from the sensor through the wire harness to the ECU. So it shouldn't be a problem to extend the length of the sensor wires (within reason). Just use good craftsmanship in cutting, splicing and insulating the wires and you should be good to go. |

thank you sparky, yes i totally mixed the o2 and IAT sensor. The IAT looks like ordinary thermistor (the resistance of it is around 20k - 30k ohm), so i did cut the wires now and give a few centimeter of new (also Cu wire) and hopefully made a good connection with my weller soldering iron and of course make some insulation with heat shrinking tube. |
