03XB - absolutely will... Don't ask me how I know!! (done it more than 2 times) I'd assume that it'd work on the Sporties but can't say that from experience. |

Does anyone know then where I could find ARP replacement studs? |

I bought some ARP studs. They were NOT direct replacements - the coarse threads engaged fine in the head castings, the fine threads stuck up quite a bit farther - but they DID work just fine. I do know that Buell Racing (Henry Duga) occasionally gets a supply of ARP forged studs in stock and I'm sure that those would NOT require a racing license. Buell Racing (if they still have them) would be a direct replacement. I only have two - and now that I am runing NEW heads, I need to hang onto them or I'd ask you for your mailing address. I'd recommend going online and checking the ARP catalogue. I was fortunate to go by their facility a couple times a month and bought a dozen studs a couple years ago. http://www.arp-bolts.com/catalog/Catalog.PP/2005Ca talog049.html Down at the bottom - the 5/16 studs. You will have to call them to order less than a kit of 16 I think. You might also ask IF they stock actual Harley Davidson exhaust stud replacements. If not, those 5/16 studs will work. |
