on my CR this thing seems to be kinda sketchy - but it could be caused by something else - sometimes while riding (like tonight riding casually in 50-60 degree weather) it rises up to 108-110ish and my seat and right leg/foot seem to be getting hotter - has anyone else experienced this or have any info on what this might be? |

This happened to me in my first week with the bike. At the same time, coolant temp was also very high --- up to 211 on one occasion. Service techs and Buell specialist kept telling me it was normal, and that if I didn't like it I should install a heat shield. I figured out the coolant level was 1/2 quart low. Filled it up and no problems since. (Message edited by MarcoDeSade on February 13, 2009) |

yep, I checked the coolant level as soon as I picked up the bike and it was low. |
