for those of you wanting to pick up your pressure gauge, gail's has about 8 boxes worth of them. I rode over there and got one on saturday after riding with you hooligans from the plaza. |

That bike is definitely sweet! I saw it a couple weeks ago just browsing Buells for sale. The XB wheels and chrome really set it off as a custom. |

I sent him an email, to see what I can get done. If he is willing to deal I may have to get it, if not no big deal. But there may be an S1 up for sale here in the near future. Let me know if any of you may want a look at it. (see profile) |

Im currently having a lagging issue on my bike and im curious if any of you guys are good w/ ECMSpy? Im in the process of ordering new plugs, wires, 02 sensor, air filter and maybe a rear injector. After I replace this stuff if I still have the issue if someone is interested in trying to help me figure it out I will buy you a beer( soda\water if thats your thing). I will post back up when I have everything this is just more of a heads up and feeler of who might be able to help. |

I'm not "good" with ECMSpy, but I do know that it is very dangerous to mess with factory mapping; especially absent a dyno. To the average dude like myself, ECMSpy is only good for doing the routine stuff like resetting the TPS and checking/clearing codes. Which, BTW, if you are not throwing any codes, you likely won't need an O2 sensor and may not need an injector. I would try resetting the TPS first. That usually fixes almost any weirdness my bike develops every 3-4k miles (lagging, surging, etc...). My other advice would be to try one thing at a time with a round of testing after each change. I do remember having a lagging problem that was caused by a wiring issue. |

Hmm.. So would you stop in Pittsburg Ks for gas from Kansas City? Then head into Joplin Mo? Just trying to get a feel of how many times to fill up the tank on that long of a trip? |

I think there will be a few of us going, thats for sure. Sounds like we maybe around 7 to 10 of us from the KC area. I am thinking about heading down on the 19th and make a long weekend out of it. Just to get out of town, and on some new roads. |

Okay, how about we meet up at Fuel at 9am or so and be in Joplin for lunch. It's about a 3-hour tour, a 3-hour tour. That way, we can have the option of taking the long way home and not be all in the dark and shlt. (Message edited by lowflyer on February 12, 2009) |

Sounds good to me. And were gonna be in the dark no matter what if we stay for the 7pm Trilogy of Tech thing. But hey, what do I care? My mom says I'm ok to stay out past dark just this once.... And bwesky, you can go. Not that far of a ride. Plus its gotta be easier for distance on a Lighting. |

This may be a little off the current subject, but...... has anyone seen a 1125cr out on the road around the KC area? I haven't seen any yet. Curious if any of you have. |

Saw one at Gail's and Riverfront but haven't seen any on the street yet. Definitely a cool bike tho....... As for eating lunch in Joplin, are we gonna find some roads outside of town to ride on while we wait for 5 o'clock to roll around? |

Yeah, that's kind of what I was thinking. We could take 43 south out of Joplin and make a loop out of 90, Hwy E, 76 and 71. Or we could just do lunch here and get there around showtime if that is too much riding for some. That is since 150 miles is so far, I mean. |
