Author Message   Wardan123 Posted on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 - 11:38 am:        It happened to me... in November I lost my job. I have 2 part time jobs but I need to sell my beloved Buell. (Don't worry- I'll be back when I get full time employment.) My bike is essentially stock. I did chop the rear fender (as most do). I do have a Yodude Flytrap on it (allows for a tool kit to go behind the fly screen). Other than that no internal mods. It has not been hotrodded. Paper gaskets leaked so new "metal" gaskets were put on the bike by dealership. Other than that it has had no issues. I am a father of 2 girls (Age 5 and 2) and the husband of a woman who doesn't understand motorcyclists. I used to ride to work (local area high school hence the 72XX miles) but I have worked from home for the last 5 years taking care of my kids and working online. (no real way to attach a car seat on the X1W- I tried). My rides now are local area errands. KBB is $5850 but I know the market is soft. I thought it would be fair to ask $4500 for the bike. If you need an excuse to travel to SUNNY Fl. from your snowy corner of the world- this could be it.
