If the clutch upgrade you're talking about is replacing the spring plate with 2 steels and a friction then it costs $37 and change.
Fyi the new sponsor, beartooth buell is amazing. I have talked to nate many times the past couple weeks and he's gone above and beyond with tracking down parts as well as tech advice that isn't in the manuals. I'm getting the clutch plates through beartooth vs driving 85 miles to my nearest (non bwb sponsor) buell dealer. |

Thanks PK that's good to know, especially the price and the sponsor. I have one that I'm kinda fond of 'cause they've sent me some of the free swag when my local yocals didn't participate contrary to what the web said. |

Woah, hold up. Where did you get that quote? I've heard that HD/Buell RAPES you on the price of the friction and steel plates. like $30 A PIECE!!!

If you're hearing $30/each then take your business elsewhere.
$20.50ea for friction plate 37911-90
$8.50ea for steel plate 37913-90

Hey K-roc please Document [ PIX!] the tranny pull I have a take off lurch and I am going to put a little less oil in the gear box by leveling the bike and trying that the bike jumps on take off and my next alternative is to pull the box and look it all over
( wanna avoid that now ) |

Holy cow, I just bought the socket to remove the front sprocket and 'bout died. $42.40 for a 1 7/8 socket. You can buy a whole set for that. Let somebody break in the house now, they'll get a socket chucked at their head. |

Well it had crossed my mind but I hope in years to come to tinker a little more on some two wheeled fun so hopefully I'll use it again. Also most of my riding buddies aren't that mechanically inclined so every so often a bike will end up at the busted knuckle garage. |
