My bike randomly shut off while riding today. I was riding really really hard so did it overheat or what?? It happened once before last season. Has anyone else had any problems with this? |

Did the bike completely shut down? Gages off, lights off, or did just the engine quit. If the engine quits and everything else stays on I would suspect the Bank Angle Sensor. This switch shuts the fuel off in case of a tip over. Cycle the kill switch and it starts right up. If everything shuts off, first check the battery terminals. Most of us have had to put washers under the terminal bolts as they bottom out just as they tighten causing poor connections. If you can grab the battery cables and make them move by hand at all, they are not tight enough. If the battery connections are good, it could be a short in the wires, bad ground, broken wire in the harness, ECM connectors loose. |

Sounds like the low coolant level sensor! NO, seriously the above thread hit the mark! |
