The low fuel warning lamp on my friends XB9S from 2003 is out. The lamp itself is ok and there is no apparent wear on the wires. It is wired into the fuel pump, where I assume there is a level sensor of some kind. Does anyone have experience with a problem like this? Or have pics of a removed fuel pump? Also is there anything special to consider if I remove the fuel pump? Thanks! BR /Björn, Sweden |

Bjorn, if the Low Fuel level sensor is bad, it's located in the Fuel Pump which is on the lower left hand side of the Fuel Tank/Frame. I could e-mail you PDF for an '04 XB12S Service Manul. Has detailed info of removal, tools you need, etc. PM me if you want it. |

Sensor the first time (fixed).. second time I assumed the same since I still get gas, all other LEDs work on the gauge cluster so I said F-it. |
