The 09 Instrument cluster battery reading shows 12.7 volts fully charged, as does the owners manual. However coma a 12 volt battery is 13.2 volts fully charged (2,2 volts x 6 cells = 13.2) Is there a way to correct that reading on the Instrument cluster? Or even getting the manual changed in the future?

12.7 is fully charged. Your owners manual should have a battery state of charge chart, take a look at it. Mine is usually at 12.6 and I don't use a tender.

Put a volt meter on it. My cluster shows 12.7 after I take it off the tender and my volt meter says it's spot on.

A 12 volt battery has 6 cells at a little over 2.1 volts per cell. which is where you get the 12.7 volts on the fully charged battery. To charge properly it requires 13.0 volts or higher output from the charging system.

Sorry Guys had brain fart. I work with big UPS batteries everyday and they are 2.2 volts per cell for 13.2 fully charged. What a difference .1 of a volt makes
