Hey Buellers - I just put a set of these Dunlops on the ST-1300. Obviously not for excursions into dirt...at least on purpose. But they do come in "our size" and might be a pretty good touring tire for the Uly - The ST likes 'em so far - and outweighs the Uly by several hundred pounds (or 100 kilos for you Brits, Aussies & Kiwi's) I'll see how they wear and offer a report. May be awhile though - every time I go out to excercise the Honda... I end up jumpin on the Uly instead. Some kind of wierd mind control thought waves emminating from somewhere in Wisconsin. I'm possesed I tell ya... Posessed!! Send the excommunicator, er.. maybe thats exorsist or exterminator ?? Anyway - 52* here and sun shinning - I'm gone. j |

I put a RS on the rear ... just under a 1000k miles. So far I like them..I haven't had a chance to push them as much as the Sync's, but they feel pretty good. I put them on to see if I could get more than 5000 miles out of a rear and I was actually able to get it for the same price as the sync. If it goes well, I will probably replace the front sync with a RS when its time. |

I put close 10 10,000 on a set this summer zig zagging across the states this past summer. I had to swap them out when the front when the edges wore out before the center making turn in kind of scarry at times and very unpredictable. The rear wore even. I will mount another set when I plan another LD trip. |

I went through a tire catalog with my service guy yesterday - I was amazed at how few brands make the big rear tire for the Uly (like the D616). Am I missing something, or is my service guy (and I) just clueless? |

I'm close to the 10,000 mile mark on mine. Oddly enough, it looks like the front will wear out before the rear does. Getting some cupping on the front, rear looks like a normal wear pattern. They will need replacing before taking any trips. |

In Spain there there are a few issues comenting about the wobbly front end with michelin tyres, i've tried Cotinental road attack, and they do pretty well, now i'm on Dunlop sport max d 207, and they're new, and I know i don't have any mile son them but on the first ride they feel very safe, and help the bike corner better than stock or continental. |

I'm torn between the Scorpion Syncs and the RS for my next tires. Gotta wear out my 616s first. Sounds like either is a big upgrade from the 616s. |

The test may be fine with RR japs, but the Uly is a whole diferent world, also it's not only the tyre the clue, the roads, the style of riding, all influences. |
