Hi guys, Sorry to re-post, but the Cyclone section has been pretty quiet lately. I'm going naked and when I removed my bodywork, I found that the paint on the subframe was pretty scuffed up. (And thin! I swear, it's almost as though I could rub it off with my fingers!) I have the standard black frame (I think) and was wondering what you folks do for touch-up? Thanks, Randy |

My 2000 was a left over when I bought it in 2005 and the frame paint had a few imperfections where the safety label was. Drove me crazy. I bought a can of semi-gloss rattle can black and taped off the the ends of the tube that was marred. I sprayed the whole length of the tube. Even if the gloss is a little off it doesn't seem to matter since the light reflects differently from the other tubes it's attached to. Mine came out like new -- just a thought -- |
