I'm kicking myself. I rode to work yesterday. This morning I got up and washed all the salt off of the bike and now I don't want to get it dirty. I really want it to rain and rinse the roads off. |

It was low 50's here today, got in a 100 mile ride. A bit windy tho, but hey, anytime you can get out it's time to ride. Suppose to snow tomorrow. |

I would have loved to have ridden today but there is so much salt/sodium dichloride down and don't want to get that all over my beloved Uly. It was real hard today to not head out. Tuesday will be even harder. I need a POS bike to take out in the winter. (Message edited by svh on February 08, 2009) |

It was gorgeous here today,am at my brothers place in Angels Camp. about 65 today and took out my XR400 for some dirtbiking, sweet. Went for rides between wrenching on my bros fleet of bikes, 2 rear tires on the XR-100's, swapped forks on one XR-200,and took off the shock from his Suzuki quad as it was toast. All done out in the lovely sun. |

43º in lovely downtown Sag Harbor. Took the Harley out for a spin yesterday, and will be riding it all day today. Roads are a bit too dirty, and my driveway a bit too muddy for Lil' Blackie's delicate sensibilities, but it won't be long now.

Trucked my new '09 XB9SX 165 miles home Sunday. Monday was birthday 66. Took Tuesday off and went trail riding on the old XR400 with 4 friends in mid 50s weather. Yesterday took a 42 degree 175 mile shakedown ride on the XB. Woof! |

Couldn't stand it any more so off I went about 100 miles. Best part is I bought a pair of Sidi boots and my feet didn't get cold, for once! Wish I could say the same for my hands...time for heated grips ya think? Looks like it's back to cold a rain for the rest of the week. Of course now it's time to pay the piper and wash the salt and crud off the beast. |

The Way Tepor Rain. I got caught in a DRIVING rain storm with my old lace ups and my feet were soaked! I was over at Iron Pony and picked these up. They fit good and I got them a little loose as I wear heavy socks and that fixes that. They're not the super toe draggers that some like but do provide good protection. Simple, It was 0 degrees when I left the house with the drystar on and the liner in it. I could feel that it was cool out but did not get the shakes. I should have put a sweater on under it. At 32 degrees later on it was perfect. Fits me good. I give it a 9. Thanks |

What wind? All I feel is the push of the wind. It stays out. Well it looks like I won't be riding today. |
