Hate to do it but just acquired not one but 2 more Buells and need to pay for them, Got a nasty 91" S-1 making near 120 HP with a ton of Al's goodies on it and a nice S-2T that needs motor work. SO this bike must go.
One of 13 bikes built to race at the 95th anniversary of HD. Came from Buell with no lights,speedometer,or any of the light switches. AFAIK it has never been registered. Sat in a dealer for eons as evidenced by the condition of cases and cylinders,they look brand new. Has riders signature on n umber plates and nearly all the original race parts, including sponsors stickers(and I was given a ton of extras courtesy of Bruce Champion at Buell). When I got it the race exhaust was gone as was the race aircleaner. I have a race header from Brankin and just got a race aircleaner for it. The CV carb needs to be gone through as it leaked,might get that done. I added an S-2 CF rear fender as it had none. Still has the original WP exposed spring shock. Near new Dunlop Sportmax GP tires. I have a new stock S-1W header and muffler on it now as I have not acquired a race muffler.This bike runs great and looks fantastic.Has scuffs on L/S of tank from it's race days and someone cut the rear frame/peg mounts off so no kickstand--though I have a stock kickstand to go on. And when the exhaust was off of it,it apparently fell against the pushrod tubes as they are dented but function fine. I have extras.Will post pics soon.
This is a piece of Buell history. Asking 6000.00.

This is in drag race trim, have belt,stock exhaust,air cleaner,etc.

For you I'd do 4000.
Going to wait a bit and relist it on eBay and just tell everyone what the reserve will be,had lots of watchers and bidders but never got close and no one bothered to ask what the reserve was.

I see this on ebay with a $3500 buy now price. It just kills me. Wish that it was closer to the Canadian east coast as there is lot's of fun left in this bike. Somebody please buy this before some chopper/bobber idiot does!
