My friend and I have been talking about getting a Buell group/club started in the Tri-Cities area. We are looking for other people who ride Buell's that want to get together for rides, chat about Buell's, maybe set up a maint day or ? New and Old Buell's welcome. (Along with Ducati and other naked sport bikes). Anyone around the Tri-Cities riding Buell's?? If so let us know. We are both riding S1 Lightnings. Hodakaguy |

Hey guys...I would like to ask your help in the choice of a route from Spokane to Kettle Falls...Six of us will be over-nighting the evening of June 19 in Spokane...We want to pick up WA 20 in Kettle Falls and take it west to WA 9 and then north into BC...My specific question is to which road, US 395 or WA 25, would be the better ride?...If 25 to connect to it I was looking at WA 291, then N on WA 231 and then W on Ford Wellpinit, McCoy Lake, W End and Midget Lake roads...Or should I just stay N on WA 231 and take the Springdale-Hunters road over to WA 25?...I noticed that the first route in thru the reservation and wondered if that is a problem or not?... Thanks, Bob |

I'm in Hermiston, hodakadude. I've been known to hit shumate on saturdays for the free weenies. I ride year round and would like to meet other Buellers. I'm on my third Buell and have never rode with another Buell. I rode to Lagrande today to see an ill friend. The pass was gnarley. Rain, sleet, hail, fog, wind, cats and dogs. Nice to get back to my warm, dry desert! D PAN N '06 Uly |

Dan. l wish l'd realized you were in Hermiston. Last summer l meet two friends who rode up from John Day thru that freak snow storm in June. They were both on Monsters. lt was epic. We meet in Pendleton where Rach demanded a motel with a hot tub. They were very wet and cold. Coming in l took the back road through Echo along the Umatilla. What a cool road. l'll look you up next time thru. |

Slamber777, That road is called the Rieth road. It runs between Echo and Pendleton. Us locals love the hell out of it because it's never boring. You can ride up it one way and think you know where all the potholes and other hazards are but when you ride back down it there will be rock scree all over a section or critters in the road. Keeps us on out toes! Another road with less hazards is called the Holdman Road. It runs from Hermiston to Pendleton north of I-84. Farmlands and high speed sweepers with a 5 mile straight section and no sideroads or hazards in this section. I bet you can guess what we do there? There's lots of day rides out of Hermiston that are unforgettable too. I've always wanted to start a motorcycle tour business here. This part of the state has a lot to offer and nobody knows about it. Stop by for a weekend and I will show you. I am in the B.R.A.N. section of this site.
