I have a set of Crossroad pro handlebars,My problem is the bars are alot lower than stock. I have a problem the horn goes off at tight left turns and the starter on right turns. These bars are alot better for my riding style the factory bars are too upright. I am considering using a cut iff wheel and some sand paper to make the buttons lower. Has anyone else encountered this problem? If so your suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Andre did you try adjusting your controls further in meaning levers, all of it. Then they should clear. One more thing are they for a M2 because if there not they won't work.

Bigbx1,
...depending on which set of bars you have in conjunction with which tank...actually, the 'plate' the bars attach to has a different angle back and down for the manta tanks than they do for the smaller tanks...you could be using a bar set-up for the narrow tank on a manta...or you could just rotate the controls on the bar until they don't contact the tank when you turn.

Personally, I liked the bar set-up with the smaller tank because it put my arms closer in to the tank and not quite so forward over the tank as the bars for the manta tank.

Absolutely right Kevyn.I have the setup for the manta tank but I switch tanks to the smaller tank every now and then.

Actually I used the X1 crossroads bars on my M2 with the manta-ray tank and they fit fine. No buttons hitting at all. My Buddy has the M2 bars on his M2 and they hit all the time. Go fig.

Cut off the little nubs inside your controls and then rotate the controls either up or down to your liking until they stop hitting.

I made `em butI dont want to be censored for advertising on this site, besides shipping would make them soooo expensive.to our U.S.cousins. Any half decent metalworking shop should be able to make these up for ya. If you want any dimensions or anything send an off site mail. Miguel

If you don't mind your bars going a couple inches lower Airtech has some custom clip-ons for manta tanks that extend forward a couple inches to clear the big tanks, too.
