Well I am tearing her down for a few part removal/add on projects I am doing - i know someone wanted to look at the headlamp assembly to see how it mounted and someone wanted to see the HID ballast - as far as my projects go I am removing the factory mirrors, putting LEDs in the headlamp assembly for blinkers, adding CRG bar end mirrors, installing my Buell Traction grips, I already have Pazzo levers on her, I am also ditching the rear blinkers and flushing some into the sides of the undertail tray, I of course have an XBLIGHTS taillight, I have already chopped the tail, I am satisfied with the result but MIGHT order that piece from trojan that includes the metal plate that fills the hole in the bottom (i just trimmed the plastic one to still fit) - I think thats all so far, until the Drummer comes out........... |

I wanted to do that using the 1" cluster from custom dynamics but then I remember how difficult it was to remove the headlight lens on my old car plus I don't know if I have the patience for that anymore. Good luck keep us posted ! |

alright well last night i finished the rear blinkers - plans changed, as they always do with my projects, i dissected the rear blinkers down to the factory refractor lens and inside casing and after drilling 3 holes on each side of the undertail tray i mounted the blinker on the inside - i figured a way to do the fronts as well with the factory rear blinkers - so now i have to find another set and i know the dealer wont have any, and of course im trying to get this done asap because it is supposed to be nice weather this weekend |

Are you going to dispose of the stock front turn signal / mirror assemblies?? If you do I need a left mirror/turn signal assembly. |

mods in the video: xenonrider HID kit, pazzo levers, traction grips, CRG hindsight ls bar end mirrors, flushed the guts of the stock rear blinkers into the sides of the undertail tray, chopped the tail, license plate LEDs, XBLIGHTS taillight mods to do: flush the guts of some stock rear blinkers up front http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JKmxtqgT-Jc |

I like what you did with the turn signals. What did you do with the fronts ? I used to have a VRSCDX too, opposite colors to yours, I miss that bike. I have to get another. The national back order on the blinkers is supposedly over ,(Jan.29) per my dealer. |

im gonna do the same thing as the rear but right behind the headlight in the black part - my blinkers are more like side markers tho it seems - oh well - the rears hit the ground 6-8ft on each side of the bike, kinda cool |

ridenusa if you just take the signals apart, there is another clear lens that covers the circuit board but it has those 3 circles on it, i first drilled 3 holes in some plastic to try and center the holes over the circles as best as i could and i eventually had a metal template i clamped to the tray and drilled em out then i just clamped the blinker in the and siliconed all around the light |

Looking good Kevyn. Why don't you bring it on over & park it in my garage while you talk to Rainman1ne about paint? (He can distract you while I 'liberate' those levers) Can you by chance get me some closeup shots & your notes/thoughts/tips on your tail chop? I really need to get around to doing it, just haven't devoted the time for it yet. |

I can bring it over next weekend - I would say today since I will be over in that area but I will be watching the game as I'm sure you will be - those levers are the best mod that i actually feel everytime i ride - i would definitely notice if they got 'liberated' haha |

There's a Tuesday bike night at the Blue Goose in Addison. Haven't been in a while though since my wife is back in school & I get 'kid duty' on Tuesday nights. As for this coming weekend, I plan on being out of town myself. Oldest daughter's birthday & her godparents are back here on R&R from overseas. |

I've never been to a bike night kind of meet, big groups aren't my thing, if you let me/us know ahead of time I'm sure we could arrange something, I wouldn't mind heading to a weekly/monthly "buell night" |

I work for a smokeless tobacco company. Our product "Stonewall" takes me all over the state, just sucks I'm stuck in a work vehicle all the time, especially when I find some killer new back road somewhere and I'm in a (PUKE) minivan. |
