Just got the 09 1125R. Manual says I'm supposed to have a "7/8 in. axle hex wrench" in the tool kit. I don't see it in there. Should I have this or is it a misprint? |

Yes, you should have it. It looks like a big nut w/ a circle clip in the middle of it. 1 end goes inside the axle, the other end is what you use your wrench of choice on. A large spark plug socket can be used in a pinch as well, running the extensions through the axle to your ratchet. |

When I had to finally change my front tire, I realized I hadn't pulled my toolkit before I put 150 pounds of weight on the tail. I did that to keep the rear on the ground(rear stand) while I jacked the front up. Anywho... I tapped a screwdriver handle in the axle and use a pair of Vise-Grips to turn it. Worked fine except for final torque, got the tool out of the tail for that. Z |
