$675/yr through Dairyland That was when I was 24 with a clean record. I'm hoping for a discount now that I turned 25 (and I'll be getting married this year.) |

2482/yr, thats 241/month at GEICO. thats still alot by any standard. its because the bike is registered near the bike theft capital of Louisiana. New Orleans progressive wanted 600/month!!!! because i live near New Orleans. i was about to drop the phone when she said that. |

Get uninsured motorist, with all the dumba$$s running around with no insurance. A car pull out in front of me in Metairie, totaled bike and put me in the hospital, and i was worried for 3 days that he didn't have insurance, but thank god he did. Don't take any chances. |

State farm is the cheapest .Ive been told by progressive and gieco that they cant even touch state farms prices and was also told good luck getting insured by them .I did!!You have to have a good record for them even to insure you on a bike .It also helps to have a multi auto plan also.I checked my bill 20.97 a month 251.64 a year

I have 4 bikes and the 1125R costs me a total of $509 a year from Progressive. $500 deductible, $5,000 medical, $100,000/$300,000 bodily injury liability and $50,000 property damage. It also covers $3,000 in accessories. |

state farm is not the cheapest they dont even like inshuring bikes When I had my 2004 Sportster, State Farm (who I also have an auto, life and home policy with), was HUGE money. When I went to insure my XB12R, State Farm was the cheapest by literally thousands. It even went down once I bought the 1125. Right now (from memory): 2009 Buell 1125CR - $350-ish a year 1964 HD Sportster - $75-ish a year (yes, $75) Full coverage (likely more than I really need), $500 deductible in New York State. |

just shy of 900yr. dairyland. for my 1125r I only have one more point left before they take my license. 1 O.U.I (driving under the influence) blew .11 when the limit is .08 . it sucked. other tickets were excessive speeding. geico insurance has full coverage on my truck, and they wouldnt even insure my bike. progressive was 3000 yr or something crazy like that. i live in maine. no auto theft here. so i guess im lucky that they dont have to add soemthing like that to their figuring sheet. |

'08 1125R: $478/year with Cincinnati for full coverage $250k/$500k with $500 deductible. '09 HD V-Rod: $565/year, same coverage. Something no one has asked: Anybody see a drop after taking an MSF course? My agent asked specifically if I had taken one. (I had.) |
