I recently purchased a damaged one on ebay. I plan to customize it by putting scoops on it like the carbon fiber one from asb, only it will be my own design. It seems to me that a lot of people are looking for these without spending to much. I hope to make it by riding season. The feedback is that the response is smoother, with the main effect in the midrange. On an XB12 starting around 4,000 RPM and getting a bit closer to 5,000 on an XB9, which I guess is a little above mid range
