I have been using markers on magazine photos of the Buell CR. I was wondering if someone skilled in Photoshop could do the following coloring of the CR. -Start with a Black CR model. -Then add red bodywork in these places. Fly screen, airbox cover, and rear pillion seat cover. Leaving the front fender, radiator covers, and tailsection Black.. Thanks, REX |

Thanks. Maybe the seat section should be Red also. Thanks for doing the work. I was trying to hide the Side Radiators by making them Black, while accenting the tank and fairing. Can you do the seat section in red as one option. When you look at it with Red and the Black on the Pods, your eyes are not focused on the pods..... It would be cool to have the fairing designed in with the pods, kind of like the yamaha tdm 850's , etc. Or take the full fairing for the CR/ R and cut it down to 3/4. The full fairing on the bike hides the pods, or blends them into the bike more....... This bike is growing on me. I have the S2, S1, and M2 now. This is the first Fuel in the frame Buell that has appealed to me ....to make me want another Buell to add to the herd.......REX |

Rex, forgive me if I hurt your feelings here, but if you think the pods are ugly, my suggestion is you just live with it rather than try to make the rest of bike so ugly that it takes your eye's attention away from the pods. |

From the get-go I thought the CR was waaaaay aggressive looking. I really liked the red but the pods were too much in red, for me. For less than $100 you can have black pods. Pretty cheap change over. Later. |

No, not for the Death Valley Ride. Will be riding the M2 for that one. The All Red one looks Good, and the All black one looks fantastic. The pods in red are too much. At least Black on the pods helps them blend into the bike more. REX |

Maybe the all black one, with red on the fairing and the tank cover. REX |

Lol you did it better than me, I was going to be lazy and just take the paintbrush, set it to black, and set the size to really big and make one quick blob. |

What makes you think I didn't? I just went the 'extra step' of adding the highlight. |

May be I am in the minority here but I just love the bike in red in stock form. I specially like the color/texture contrast between the red intake and black plastic lips. Unfortunately when you move up into the $12K range, there are a number of other bikes which are as nice and as perky... |

Mine is all Red, and I love it. I keep the rear seat uncovered to get the contrasting color there, and like it like that. Might look OK with the pods black, but they really don't offend me like they are! It is kinda cool that changing the color scheme is so easy tho. R |

How about a shot with NO pods. I have a spare "offshore" radiator I've been thinking about putting behind the front tire, move the oil heat transfer device over. Mike |

If you want the black caliper, I know someone who is willing to trade. Blazin_buell has been looking to trade his black caliper for a red one. |
